Merlin ep2

So I just watched Merlin, 202 and I loved it! I love this show so much.


I actually bought the Arthur/Gwen pairing! Like Arthur kissing Gwen was the cutest thing ever and <3333 I still love Arthur/Merlin and they're, like, my otp, butbut! Angel portrays such a beautiful and cute Gwen, that I actually really love seeing her and Arthur interact. I don't remember the last time I went for a het pairing where there was an obvious slash pairing. I really loved this episode, and can't wait to watch the next one.

Was it just me, or was episode 2 there inapropriately named?

I really like the Gwen character, but I find that I am liking the Morgana character less and less the more I see of her.

Yeah, it was a really odd name.

Which is a pity, since she was pretty awesome in season 1. I think she might get better in episode 4 though. Looks promising.

I think they're just slowly introducing elements that are explanations to how they end up in the end of the legend. It's a little depressing actually, cause they're all decent people in this version and you know how they'll end up.

Also depends on what legend you look into and all, I guess.

It's funny, I like Gwen, but can't help but feel she's a little... uh, well not slutty, but very anime reverse-harem type. Like all the guys seem to go for her. Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot... though Merlin I'm not sure about, people tease him about it (heck, for being with any girl it seems) though.

Episodes just can't come out fast enough really. ;_;

Very true.

Hm, I can see that. But then we already know that she's in love with Lancelot and marries Arthur(at least with the most commonly known legend). So I think they're trying to make her a sympathetic character and set it up so she's not some harlot that cheats on the person she's married with. I think the Merlin thing was only for the first few episodes. But they've also tried with Morgana. Either way, it's pretty obvious that Merlin isn't into Morgana or Gwen. He's so focused on his destiny and protecting Arthur, that he hasn't looked at any girl.

Seriously. And it sucks that BBC has started to crack down on the youtube postings. Before they didn't care.
