So I have a three legged dog now. He seems to be doing fine, just a bit panty. The vet said that his temperature is a little high, so I to bring him back tomorrow for a check up. He gets around fine when he's standing up. Sitting down is fine too. Standing back up ranges. I think he'll be fine on his bed, but he had some trouble in the car. He hasn't peed or pooed yet though. I hope the bandages he has on aren't bothering him in that department. Normally they actually wouldn't even have bandages, but there's a little fluid buildup going on. Actually, I think he might have dribbled or peed a little in my car. ^^; I'll have to do a sniff test later.

Aww, poor doggy! Are you going to call him tripod now?

Haha, well, Stumpy has been running through my mind...Though I do like Tripod, now that you suggested it. He's a greyhound, so that works with his long legs.

Haha, how cute! There was a dog in Trapped in Paradise that was three-legged, and it's real name was Tripod. Always makes me laugh.

At the vet, we used to call a three legged dog we had "3-speed." He was so sweet. I hope Harley heals up okay--he has a great mom.

Haha 3-speed.

^^ He's doing much better now. I took him on a mini-walk and he ran the entire time. I think he might find it easier to run than go at a slower pace.

Poor baby. I'm glad you were able to get him treated.

I have to go home and hug my doggy now. (And my kitties.)

Yeah, I am too. Yay for parents.

Awww! You have the cutest dog. And I love kitties, just can't get them cause Harley's not cat friendly. How is your dog anyway? Still get separation anxiety?

Nah, Logan's been over his separation anxiety for a few months now. We're dealing with a skin allergy problem right now, but otherwise, he's pretty well behaved. Now that it's gotten a little cooler, he's spending more time playing in the backyard. I half suspect there's a husky higher up in the family tree somewhere.

Best wishes to your puppy. I hope he gets to feeling better soon.
